Booking & Cancellation Policy

Registration Fees

1. All registration fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances. 

Please note: the registration fee covers the direct costs associated with advertising, promotion, and booking administration for the retreat. Kailash Ashram operates on a charitable “Pay it Forward” model, sustained by voluntary donations offered at the end of the retreat, and does not generate any profit from the registration fee.

As these funds are allocated directly toward retreat operations, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds on the registration fee under any circumstances. We sincerely thank you for your understanding and support.

 

Transferred Bookings (Retreat Date Changes)

2. In certain circumstances, subject to management’s discretion, Kailash Ashram may allow a booking to be transferred to a future retreat:

• 60 Days notice must be given
• A genuine reason for the request for the change of date must be provided.
• Any transferred booking is final and non-transferable thereafter.
• Transferred bookings are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.
• No further changes, transfers, or credits will be permitted once a booking has been transferred.

 

Suitability

3. We connect with all participants prior to the retreat.

If we find that the retreat may not be suitable for your current situation, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

 

Retreat Minimum Numbers

4. We reserve the right to cancel a retreat if minimum participant numbers are not met.
In this case, all payments will be fully refunded.

 

Medical Cancellations

5. If you are unable to attend due to personal medical reasons, no refund will be provided.
We strongly recommend having appropriate travel insurance to cover such situations.

 

Force Majeure

6. No refunds will be issued for cancellations or changes arising from events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
natural disasters, adverse weather, acts of God, war or threat of war, civil unrest, industrial disputes, terrorist activity, or transport closures.

 

Ashram Guidelines

To maintain the sanctity of the space:

• This is a strictly drug- and alcohol-free environment
• Respectful conduct is expected at all times toward staff and fellow participants
• Participants are expected to honour the discipline and intention of the retreat

Final Note

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances. Once a booking is made, it reflects a commitment not only to attend, but to honour the space being held for you.
